I don’t know about you, but I can always use an excuse to jet out to the desert for the weekend and Coachella is a perfect justification; even if going to the actual festival is not part of the plan! Of course, if there’s an awesome band playing that simply can’t be missed, then by all means, buy the ticket and dance in the dust all day long. For those who still want the Chella experience, and don’t have 4 days and 3 nights to take a load off and enjoy, there’s still plenty of fun to be had at the parties!
My crew, YOHAN and Bella Graham, and I left LA around 10am, and thank goodness there was no traffic. We breezed to Palm Springs in just 2 hours and arrived at our first event.
First stop: The Conscious Collective Hosted by the always on point Kelsi Smith and her team, we celebrated the launch of Conscious Collective Co. with The Greenhouse which was an intimate spot for influencers to relax pool side away from the crazy Coachella parties.
We enjoyed a salad bar from The Primal Kitchen and snacks from Amy’s, paired with delicious cocktails by Glossops. We also indulged in desert beauty survival kits from Pacifica Beauty and although our crew didn’t try it, we watched as others got creative with an Indigo Dye workshop from Jungmaven. It was a great way to kick off the festivities!
2nd: Popsugar The minute we walked in, we started dancing.
Emily Ratajkowski and POPSUGAR brand ambassador Hannah Bronfman among other chic party goers were cooling down poolside at the two-day festival oasis at the Avalon Hotel. Bronfman and Chelsea Leyland took turns in the DJ booth and Jhené Aiko serenaded the cabana crowd. We had a blast!
3rd: Rachel Zoe For me, one of the main points of excitement about Coachella is the fashion. So, naturally a dose of RZ was 100% in order. We hopped on the shuttle which took us to a hidden ZOEasis full of well dressed party people, including these amazing ladies!
There were plenty of photo opps and brand integrations including a DIY denim bar by GUESS, spin-art by Superga, a braid bar hosted by Batiste, and more. I already can’t wait until next year 😉
4th: Rob Lebow’s house The sun was starting to set and the crew was ready for some chill time, so we headed over to friend and photographer’s house for a little shoot and snacks! Creator of Gorgeous Project, Rob Lebow took us in and showed us a great time before the next party!
5th: Jeremy Scott It got a bit chilly towards the wee hours of the morning, but we didn’t care! The crew danced our butts off at JS’s annual, super-exclusive, celebrity-packed Coachella party.
The grand finale… the drive home! We made it out alive! It was literally a 24 hour experience, but I have to say, we killed it. See you next year, Coachella!
