Colorado is one of the most diverse states in the US that you will visit. One minute you could be walking through desert like conditions, the next you could be in the most beautiful national park with lakes the mesmerize you. Because if there’s one thing that Colorado is, it’s mesmerizing. But people always seem to go for the more commercial areas of the US such as Miami or Florida. Activities

You won’t fall short of activities when it comes to Colorado. It is such an outdoors place, that you’ll never be left looking for things to do. If you’re expecting more of a relaxing break, there’s plenty of things for you to do that we’ll explore later on in the article. But for now, have you ever tried white water rafting? There are some truly amazing spots all around Colorado that will offer you a thrill of a lifetime. If you get when the weather is a bit warmer, it might be more appealing to you! If you do go in the winter, there are plenty of activities for you to do. The rocky mountains become thick with snow meaning you could try your hand at dog sledging, which seems to be a firm favourite, or even cross country skiing to make sure you see plenty of the sights. When you’ve worked up a hell of an appetite from all of the activities, there’s plenty of places to fill your belly. The Fort restaurant is something a little more unique, and the dining experience you’ll have there is amazing.

 

Accomodation

The accommodation is something that a lot of you are going to love. All up and down the state there is a range of different accommodation types to choose from. From lodges, to beautiful hotels, you truly will be spoilt for choice. Just take the Leland House and Rochester Hotel as a prime example. It is within walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants, and the accommodation itself will leave you well rested for another day of activities. You’ll find that on the whole, the price of accomodation isn’t really that high in Colorado. There’s different price ranges depending on what you’re looking for. If you want something a little more posh, you’re going to have to pay the extra bucks, just like you would anywhere.

 

Relaxation

There’s plenty of national parks and nature walks if you’re looking for something a little more relaxed. There’s also some really lovely spa breaks that you could try your hand at around the state. Sometimes it is nice to get pampered whilst you’re away. So if you’ve just had a long walk around a nature trail, why not go to a spa and have a lovely massage to melt any of your troubles away.
