Hollywood – they don’t call it Hollyweird for nothing, in terms of both people and food. Loads of hole-in-the-wall pizza joints and cart after cart of street meat on the Boulevard may ruin your appetite, but there is definitely a more gourmet side of the star-studded street – at Wood and Vine.
Step out of the madness and into a serene, candle-lit hide-away, nestled right near the W Hotel. Wood and Vine features an intimate selection of dining areas- including a bar and secluded upstairs which overlooks the fire pit and rows of out-door seating. There are also plenty of couches and comfy benches scattered around for sophisticate lounging – vino in hand.
While the pork sliders and chicken and waffles may sound enticing, we definitely recommend sticking to the charcuterie plates and smaller bites. Grab a delicious glass of wine or a specialty cocktail and cozy up to a date or a good friend, and you’ll forget the mob scene you walked through before you entered into this ambient retreat of a restaurant.
One of our favorite cocktails is the Accomplice, made of Organic Vodka, Strawberry syrup, Champagne and Lemon Juice – just the right amount of sweet.
