We’re quickly coming up to the end of fall, so now is the best time to start looking ahead to your winter wardrobe. What will you be wearing from December through to February this year? Not sure yet? If not, don’t worry as I’ve got the big scoop on the trends that are going to be massive over this coming winter.

Sparkle & Shine

‘Tis almost the season to be merry, so that means it’s the best time of year to add a touch of sparkle to your outfits. On the catwalks recently, there has been a huge focus on gorgeous evening wear, all of which has been pimped to the max with bling and sparkles. Sequins are set to be a big part of your winter wardrobe to help achieve this look, and you will also find that the shops start to stock faux-crystal mesh tops. Dive into this trend for the Midas touch on your outfits this year!

Lady In Red

Each season has its super trendy color and this winter it looks like our clothes are going to be set alight with plenty of red. In fact, you might even spot some fashion-forward gals in red from head-to-toe. If you are ready to shop now for all your red shirts and dresses, take a look at The Mason Jar’s website. You’ll find all the latest trends on their site, all ready for you to snap up.

Suit Up

Think suits are just for the guys? Think again! This winter, they are going to be a huge hit with women too. You’ll see lots of girls in preppy blazers and cute pencil skirts even when they aren’t on their way to the office. Three-piece suits will also start to pop up on the rails on most shops, so make sure you get yours before they disappear! Even if you don’t like the idea of wearing a full suit, you should still consider teaming a smart blazer with some formal jeans.

Statement Tights

Black tights will soon be out of the window and will be replaced with lots of colorful stockings and hosiery. This year, statement tights are making a big comeback! Over the past couple of years, vibrant shoes and handbags have stolen the show in fashion but over the next few weeks, they will take a backseat so that bold tights can take over the show. Go for pairs that feature big patterns or bright and bold colors.

Feather Me Up

Faux fur has been skirting the edges of fashion for a few years, but feathers are going to come and mix everything up now. Fur is out and feathers are very much in! You will find that coat trims will be made out of plush feathers rather than the usual fur. In fact, wherever a designer can put feathers, you’ll find them!

So, which of these trends do you think you’ll be adopting this winter? I’m sure that you will look absolutely fabulous no matter what you wear!
