Most of us absolutely love this time of year when we are getting ready for our annual holiday, usually abroad to some sunny, semi-tropical ‘type’ location where we can let loose and enjoy. It’s time to think about what we will wear, where we will shop and if all our accessories and baggage are in order. Do you need designer eyewear to complement the fashions you have chosen? If so, there are some things you need to think about before spending the first pound.

Where Are You Going?

By now you’ve made your plans and know where you are going. Will you be going someplace that demands a bit of conservative attire or are you travelling to a beachside resort? The styles you choose in designer eyewear for your summer holiday wardrobe should be in keeping with the type of clothing you are wearing. For example, if you are blending work and pleasure on your summer holiday as so many freelancers do, you might want to opt for a more conservative look but if you are going to be clubbing then anything goes!

What Will You Be Doing?

So then, what will you be doing? If you are going to spend a great deal of time in the sun, then perhaps you either need to choose a photochromic lens that will change with the amount of sunlight or two pairs of glasses. You can ask your optician what type of lenses you should order based on your vision needs. Depending on your budget, this should be a primary consideration. If your budget is a bit flexible as far as your wardrobe goes, then by all means choose both sunnies and prescription designer eyewear if needs be. But if you are saving that extra bit of money for enjoyment, consider eyewear that works in a wide range of exposure to the sun.

Look for the Designer That Matches Your Style

Now it’s time to really, really think about the designer you choose based on your personal style. Some eyewear designers are trending hot at the moment but their offerings might not be quite in keeping with your look. There are other designers out there who are just as trendy and if you are looking to make a ‘name’ for yourself as a trendy traveller, choose the designer that fits your style. It wouldn’t do to buy a pair of glasses based on a designer that you think will get ‘notice’ if that designer has nothing to offer complementary to your style.

Whether you need prescription lenses or are simply looking for designer eyewear in sunnies, keep in mind where you will be going, what you will be doing and how you want to come across. It is your personal look that will impact the style and designer you choose, so consider that carefully. Prescription lenses can be made to fit almost any style frames so that should not be your major focus when getting ready for holiday. You want to have fun in the sun and not worry that you can’t see what’s going on around you. Probably even just as important – you want everything going on around you to notice you! The right pair of designer glasses will help complete the look so shop on. Summer is almost here.
