This is America. Of course burgers and burlesque go together. Well, at least they do now at LA hybrid venue, Rockwell : Table and Stage, which opened last week.
Right down the street form our other Vermont favorite, Figaro Bistrot, what was once the Rockwell and the adjacent bar, Barre, is now a joint, simplified version, complete with roomy bistrot tables and a big stage. Table and Stage. Get it? We’re guessing Barre didn’t mind giving up its name in exchange for some extra space either.
Be ready for a variety of flatbreads, hotdogs served with fries and slaw, and an array of musical numbers inspired by films like Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood. A musical There Will Be Blood, I guess we’ve had it coming.
