Blackpool

The UK is known for its beaches, with one of its most iconic and well-known beach being Blackpool. Once you have seen London, the next place to visit has to be Blackpool.

Ideally, at get a proper feel for this seaside town, you want to spend at least three or four days here. There is just so much to see and do, from swimming at the beach to exploring the top restaurants in Blackpool, it’s impossible to do it all.

The places you have to visit are Blackpool Zoo, Blackpool Pleasure Park and, of course, the iconic Blackpool Tower.

Cornwall

Cornwall is a seaside region that is very different to Blackpool. The beaches and seaside towns in Cornwall are much less commercialized that Blackpool.

Cornwall is famous for three things; it’s surfing, Cornish pasties and cream teas. As well as the less commercialized beaches, Cornwall also has Newquay Beach, the surfing capital of the UK. If you like to surf, this is one place that is worth a visit.

When in Cornwall, the three things you don’t want to miss are a cream tea, surfing and the beaches. Cornwall has lots to offer. However, it’s attractions are more limited than in Blackpool.

There are so many amazing places in the UK; these are just three examples. There are mountains in Scotland to explore, lakes in the Lake District, cities like Bristol and Cardiff; there is a lot more to see in the UK.
