We don’t just love the Leandra Medine of the Man Repeller blog for her fabulous style and sometimes even more fabulous sarcasm, she floats our boat in more ways than one.
One reason in particular is we’re fancying her collection of smoking slippers created in collaboration with Del Toro
. Matthew Chevallard – the president of Del Toro – told Elle.com that “Leandra and I wanted to bring some whimsical relief to the conventions of the stuffy or snooty velvet slipper.”
And that they sure did.
Following a pair of pink flamingo-print velvet loafers that the pair created in January, our friendly footwear designers decided to create a pair of vintage denim smoking slippers. The super-cute kicks feature a boy face on the right and a girl face on the left! We’re talking the ultimate pair.
