I have four words for you: Summer, Cocktails, Food, Friends.
Hennessy V.S knows just the right mix of entities to create one awesome dinner party. The world’s number one selling cognac hosted the Essential Summer Cocktail Tasting at The Line Hotel in K Town last week, and the girls of TGIFguide were invited to sample some sensational libations and fabulous food.
We met new friends and tried the new Hennessy V.S creations, Carrot, Splash and Coca Mule. Crafted by the great bartenders at The Line’s Commissary restaurant, each one celebrated the uniqueness that can be created with Hennessy V.S just by adding a few other great ingredients.
We were also invited to take part in a brief history lesson on the Hennessy brand, now celebrating its 250th anniversary and a full demonstration on how to create the delectable summer cocktails. Don’t you wish “Summer Cocktails” would have been a subject in college?

- .25 Passion Fruit

- 3 Meyer Lemons
- Pinch mint
- 2 oz. Hennessy VS
- 3/4 oz. Crème Peche
- Flamed Orange Twist
Hennessy V.S Coca Mule Recipe
- 1 oz. Hennessy VS
- 1 oz. Ages de Bolivia
- .5 Lime
- Fill with ginger beer
