There are few things a girl loves less than diamonds – oh yes – and desserts!

This week at the Robbins Brothers store in Glendale, bloggers and other babes were invited to an evening of Diamonds and Desserts with the one and only Simon G.  We recently featured a post about Simon G. in support of the DOMA act, and we’re obviously fans of him here at TGIFguide.

Our team, including our founder Jackie Chambers and ADVICE contributor Megyn B, our friend and eyewear designer Megumi O, and our very own TGIFguide mom enjoyed cupcakes and cookies while trying on some of Simon G’s most beautiful diamonds with the help of the Robbins Brothers team.

The event was hosted by Cosmopolitan blogger Natasha Burton in partnership with Dress for Success, and was by far this summers’ hottest try on party and networking soiree! Not to mention each guest was sent home with some amazing goodies, including some beautiful and a gift card to the Americana! Check out some of our favorite photos of the night – starting with TGIFguide mom =)

About Simon G : Simon Ghanimian began the Simon G. journey in 1980 in Los Angeles. A passionate jeweler by purpose and by specialization, Simon spent most of his youth being molded and getting experienced with the old ways of creating jewelry; on a traditional jewelry bench, spending his time improving his innate talent and improvising his inherent ideas into making jewelry pieces which reflect his characteristic style and sophistication.
