These days, there are many versions of the wonders of the world. However, there was a starting point of just seven. However, the sad fact is that many of these have long been lost or destroyed. Happily, however, there are some modern alternatives. So, the Greek statue that used to stand at the entrance of Rhodes harbor survived only 54 years back in 280BC. However, these days you could do and see the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio, South America. Alternatively, you could tick off one of the seven wonders of the middle ages.
