When it comes to trends, there are those who lead and those who follow, and we have to say that Alexander Wang holds the guilded crown of leadership. His SS 2013 collection is with no doubt one that will define what we’ll be wearing come the season. And boy, we can’t wait for the season!
We’re happy to see that the cut-out trend is still in, although this time the pendulum is swinging toward a more delicate sort of cut-out, as opposed to a super sexy one. Rumor has it that team Wang used fishing wire to hold the slices of fabric in place! Solid interpretations of sportswear in black and white leave us itching for crafted minimalism – it’s definitely all in the details. Disintegration never looked so good.
