It’s officially summer kids, and that means it’s time to get away! To where? ANYWHERE! Pack your bags quickly without a second thought, just grab it an go! Your vacation outfit escape plan should be just as strong as your earth quake escape plan, no joke.  Need some last minute outfit advice? By including these select items, your vacation style will be perfectly complete so all you’ll have to focus on is that perfect tan.

The Shoes – When you’re on the run the most important item is your shoes! How else are you going to stampede out of town?! 2 or 3 pairs should do the trick, even if you want to stay mellow or get fancy on your weekend away. Grab one pair of walking shoes, preferably close-toed. The Gardenia Sneaker by Kensie is absolutely perfect.

A pair of platforms, flatforms or wedges that can be dressed up or down is a must and some sandals. For a wild card, throw in a fun pair of exotic heels, just in case 😉

The Shades – No girl should ever go on vacation without protecting her peepers. From Fendi to Topshop, there’s a perfect pair for you somewhere. Be sure to choose a neutral shade (or two!) in a fun shape that will go with all of your outfits. I definitely recommend bringing at least a few pairs! Sunglasses have been proven to be the best accessory.

The Clothes – A good mix of separates and dresses will always do the trick. Don’t forget to pack some strong basics, like this black cami by Free People and this oversized white tunic by Nasty Gal.  Mix and match with fun prints by Asos and Elizabeth & James, throw in a few great dresses (both short and long), some awesome swimwear, a few pair of your favorite undies, and don’t forget a fab cover up or kimono by Mes Demoiselles. With just a few important pieces, you’ll be easy, breezy, stylish!

There are so many great patterns and prints like this gorgeous number by Mara Hoffman and this super fun watermelon bag by Bando for Forever 21. It’s always a good idea to bring a classic cross body or tote as well to balance things out.

The Accessories – Some words of advice: NEVER. FORGET. SOCKS. There are few things worse than walking through airport security with bare feet. It’s also good to have a pair on hand just in case you get cold or your shoes are rubbing your feet the wrong way. These pineapple printed socks by Forever 21 are simply genius. Throw a few in your carry on and while you’re at it, you might want to grab the watermelon print ones as well, to go with your bag!

Of course, jewelry might be just as important as socks. You can either stack on what you’d like to take with you and wear it on the plane (if you feel you’ll have the patience to remove it for security) or pack it up in your carry-on. Jewelry can be heavy, so it’s advised to carry it on as opposed to check it. Also, you don’t want to loose your valuables! These flamingo earrings by Kate Spade just scream “vacation.” A simple gold necklace like this lovely Lariat Tooth Necklace by Charlene K or even a delicate butterfly that will go with everything are a must.

And don’t forget to top the whole thing off with a great hat!

Now what are you waiting for?! Pack your bags! Have a great weekend 😉
