Visiting Israel for work, play or maters of the spirit will never leave a person unimpressed. From historic monuments and cultural sites, arts, cuisine and nightlife, there is plenty to indulge in, whether you’re there to pray or to party.
On behalf of the Ministry of Tourism of Israel, I will be heading to the land of milk and honey to take part in the sprawling modern culture and testaments to times long ago and will personally meet with the best of the best in the world of cuisine. I’ll be touring the cities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, the Sea of Gallalie, Tibearias and more and will have the change to experience top notch restaurants including Herbert Samuel, Kalmata, Machneyehuda and Bertie as well as meet many of their founders.
Obviously the food part is taken care of, so one hankering question before I go is definitely not where to eat, but what to wear?!
Taking comfort and style into consideration, here are the Israel Style Tips that will be going into my suitcase, and hopefully into yours when you’re packing for your own trip to Israel!
[highlight color=”blue”] MAXI SKIRTS [/highlight] It’s great to dress sexy and show some skin, and in many places in Israel this is fine, but in visiting religious sites and conservative neighborhoods, it’s important to remember to be respectful and cover up. A maxi skirt is the perfect way to maintain those feminine vibes but in a modest, classy way. I’m loving these styles from our friends at Asos!
PS : Don’t forget a scarf or shawl to cover your arms and bare shoulders if you are planning on visiting any religious sites.
