I love going home for the holidays, don’t you?! Ever since I was blessed and became an Auntie, I’ve made it a point to get home to New Mexico as much as I possibly can! Given it was the holiday season, I had time to make the drive from LA to Farmington. It’s a 2 day drive, about 15 hours, so, needless to say, when I arrived at my mom’s around 8 pm on Christmas Eve, I needed a drink!
Luckily for me, I received the perfect Christmas gift of 3 bottles of super premium Greek wine from Georgos. It’s always exciting when a box arrives on your doorstep, and it’s even more exciting when it’s WINE!

I especially loved the names of the wines, Aphroditie’s Kiss (This wine is fresh and delicious like a Pinot Noir. It is crisp and lingering like a Sauvignon Blanc. You’ll love it with almost any food and anytime of the year!), Penelope’s Spill (The nose is true to Cabernet with a bit of leather, currants and blackberries) and Sophia’s Smile (This white wine has citrus aromas coupled with an earthy and mineral after-taste). Not only was this wine the perfect holiday gift to bring home to my family, but it was also my mom’s birthday on December 22nd. So no matter when your loved ones bday is, I mean, who doesn’t love a nice bottle of wine as a gift?
