Nestled behind an ivy wall is a beautiful little brunch spot called Firefly in Studio City. After walking past the antique bar, you are beckoned into a a lofty space that is a cross between a secret garden and industrial loft. It was a bit cold and rainy last Sunday morning so the fireplace in the middle of the space was a welcome addition.

As soon as this writer saw the Siracha Bloody Mary, it was ordered, and it was just as good as you might imagine, (disclaimer I love spicy). My fellow bloggers and I were invited to sample many of the offerings, and they were all delicious!

My favorites, aka the dishes you must try, were the French toast and Lobster
Scramble. The French toast was twice the thickness of the traditional Texas toast I am used to when ordering the dish. I only needed one bite to decide it was so delicious that I didn’t need maple syrup. It tasted like there might be a little icing on the outside… yum!

The Lobster Scramble had large pieces of lobster inside, while it is more on the pricey side of the menu this dish doesn’t disappoint and is worth every penny.

Cheers to that!

While Firefly is traditionally open only for dinner, brunch is served from 11AM -3PM on Sunday. Book your table here!
