Crave:
Transitive verb
1: To ask for earnestly
2: To want greatly
Intransitive verb
: To have a strong inward desire
Those are Webster’s definitions for the word “crave” however, if you live in the valley…the only definition you need to know is…
: amazing late night café
Los Angeles is full nocturnal human beings, and when last call is at 1:45 a.m., what are they all supposed to do? If you happen to be a nocturnal human who’s had a “few too many”, this cafe is not an “after hours” party. However, if you are on a date that it is actually running smoothly and you want to continue it, this place is perfect.
Crave Cafe has an incredible menu with everything from omelettes to paninis and then of course, desserts. You may as well pull up a chair and get comfortable, because you have the option to get to know that other person you’re dining with until you’re blue in the face… since Crave is open for 24 hours.
Aside from a late night date or two, you’ll find plenty of people with their faces buried in their computers writing, reading, blogging, researching, and…Facebook stalking. Crave has a very homey feel to it with dim lighting, couches, coffee tables, etc. If you don’t feel like throwing together a cappuccino or baking a Godiva chocolate cake at your own casa, I would highly recommend packing up your gear and making your way over. The cafe gets fairly busy and if you live on this side of town, you know it’s one of the limited places that are open for the night owls to enjoy.
Whether you need more time to hang out, a place to focus, or a late night bite, this little gem will satisfy all your cravings.
