When it comes to LA burger joints, a girl can have a long list of requirements.  Any restaurant that’s going to be added to the list of regular favorites has to be inviting, clean, unique, and not to mention the burger itself better be pretty good! A good burger in LA is equal parts tasty and healthy, and any really good burger place offers a grilled chicken and vegetarian option as well.

The *brand new* Smashburger restaurant just opened at 10704 Venice Boulevard #B, Ste. 330 in Culver City, and TGIFguide was invited to give it a try!

Smashburger’s mission to become Los Angeles’ favorite burger place, and after we sampled the menu and met the owner, we can say Smashburger is getting close to completing its mission. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we can’t wait to go back again.

Here are some “must try” items on the menu!

The signature Los Angeles Smashburger , the L.A., features a crispy wonton, fried egg, cilantro, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and Japanese steakhouse ginger dressing on a black and white sesame seed bun.

The Cucumber and Goat Cheese chicken sandwich  offers goat cheese, cucumbers, spinach, tomato, onion and balsamic vinaigrette on a multi-grain bun.

The Harvest salad  featuring a fresh mix of garden greens topped with strips of grilled or crispy chicken, sliced marinated balsamic tomatoes, raisins, cranberries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, blue cheese, served with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

The Fresh Mex Black Bean burger  featuring fresh avocado, fresh cilantro and onions, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and spicy chipotle mayo on a telera roll served with a wedge of lime.

And lest we forget that EVERY good burger deserves to be paired with a delicious glass of beer, wine or a milkshake, salted-caramel anyone?!

Be sure to head to Smashburger today and we bet you’ll be addign it to your list of favorites in no time.  Click here to find out more!
