The 4th of July is about to pounce on our backs and everyone has either had plans for weeks, or they are scrambling around trying to find something last minute. The boys are probably thinking about BBQs and beer, and the girls are probably thinking about what they are going to wear and how patriotic they are going to dress on a scale of 1-10.
I was thinking about pulling out my Statue of Liberty costume from the closet, but then I realized that I don’t have one, plus the last thing I want to be holding in the blazing sun is a torch over my head. I guess I’ll have to resort to painting my nails all festive. Okay let’s be honest, I was already planning on doing that, and so was half of the female population.
Remember when painting your nails consisted of one color and one brush stroke? Or if you were really feeling wild, you would paint a couple nails a different color. Those were the days. Now all you see are intricate and creative nail designs on every form of social media, and some of the techniques look fun to try, whereas others may stress you out just by looking at them. Try one of these looks, and make sure you’re always holding a drink in your hand so that everyone can see your patriotic little paws.
