Ok, so the TGIFguide team has been obsessing over this for a while now… a dog might be know as man’s best friend, but a doll is a fashionista’s best friend, and this fantastic editorial shot by Giampaolo Sgura proves it. Models Elizabeth Erm and Magdalena Frackowiak pose like Barbie dolls inside their boxes, almost as though they’re in a toy store waiting for us to take them home. And boy do we want to be the ones to take them home!
From butterflies at Valentino to David Bowie vibes at YSL and power Barbie at Moscino, the near perfect representations of each top brand were styled by creative duo Claire Dhelens and Celia Azoulay to an honorary fashionable T. We’ve heard about the recent happenings at Mattel, but this wouldn’t stop us from buying one, or all, of these Barbies.
