What do you get when you mix flour, butter and salt? A delicious croissant, that’s what! These three basic ingredients may be key in crafting the iconic French pastry, but not just anybody can whip up something that’s worth going back for day after day.

Not only does L’Amande create custom croissants right in their own kitchen, their satiating menu features classic French dishes like Croque Monsoir, Croque Madame, and of course, French Toast.

L’Amande, which means “almond” in French, is committed to serving only the freshest, in-house pastries and breads EVERY DAY from traditional French recipes.

Since National Croissant Day is just around the corner, why not stop by and try one of  the Pure Butter Croissants from L’Amande? A perfect croissant takes 72 hours to meticulously hand-make, and each one  must rest three to four times during this laminating process before entering the oven to be baked. The pastry chefs at L’Amande know the art of croissant making to a T, and make sure that each one is consistently delicate and delicious with the use of their own laminating machine.

Once the chefs add the finishing touches of almonds, house-made jams, custards or glazes, voila!  Which flavor is your favorite? It’s hard to choose, so you might just have to try them all, and don’t forget to order a delicious cappuccino to go with it.

There are so many other decadent pastries to try, and TGIFguide highly recommends the Galette aux Pommes. It’s PERFECT. If the photos below aren’t enough to get you to head over to L’Amande, well, we’re not sure we like you anymore. 😉

The large patio area full of bright red chairs paves the way to high ceilings and a long bakery counter full of bona fide French treats. The service couldn’t be friendlier, and this place would be Beverly Hills’ best kept secret, but the secret is out! See you there for brunch this weekend?
