When you live in one of the coolest cities on the planet (yes, LA!), it’s impossible to not meet tons of the coolest people. AJ Celi and Kelly Brown are some of those people, and we couldn’t be more excited to share news of their new business, StyleBar, which is now open in Beverly Hills.

The two stylists offer a range of services to suit anyone’s needs when it comes to wardrobe, all at a price that’s a lot more friendlier on your pocketbook than say, if you wanted to hire Rachel Zoe (which, honestly, who can afford her?!). We had a chance to tour their HQ on Beverly Drive and ask the two stylish entrepreneurs some questions – check it out!

What’s the story behind how you came up with the idea for StyleBar?
We loved that the word “style bar” was derived from an old underground speakeasy bar. Taking that word and twisting something that is the opposite of underground was a great play on that phrase for us, we love combining something that is normally an underground exclusive service and making it mainstream.

Who are some of the designers you’re looking to showcase in your showroom/office?
We stand behind wanting to really help the up-and-coming clothing designers brand, style, and get to the potential they deserve. We also rent vintage and designer archives.

Who’s your ideal lady, or man, to dress?
We personally love to dress EVERY man and woman which is exactly what our brand emulates. There is room for everyone. For instance the busy mother who doesn’t have time or the single man looking for love.

What types of occasions do you style people’s looks for?
Anything from a wedding to a photoshoot.

What’s the best part about your job?
We get to make people smile and see the best version of themselves.

How do you see StyleBar growing in the future? We see Style Bar in every major city someday with teams that will transform your looks into cohesive ensembles great for any occasion!

xoxo Kelly and AJ
