Having had a fashion blog for years, I thought it was high time I incorporated a personal style element. I am no Tavi or Bebe Zeva, but hey, I do love to play dress up and therefore I’m excited to announce the new PS… (personal style) section of TGIFguide!
Now to share about my look. I chose this outfit for my first post for more than a few reasons.
1) This is actually what I wore today. It’s FREEZING in LA right now so I have on tons of layers including leggings by Charlotte Russe, skirt by Forever 21, 3/4 sleeve top by H&M, fur vest is vintage from a store in Tokyo, black booties by Guess, shades by FredFlare.com, bag by H&M and the fabulous camo hat is from the Halloween Store believe it or not! Also the spiked bracelet was a gift from a friend but I’m sure you can find one at Claire’s or in Santee Alley.
2) Every time I wear this outfit I think of my dad and my brother and how they go pheasant hunting. This camo hat is probably the closest I’ll ever get to pheasant hunting.
Poor little pheasants.
3) Every garment except the fur vest is cotton, so my entire look is super comfortable!
4) In case you didn’t know, camouflage is HUGE right now =) Be sure to check out my obsession with CAMO NAILS as well!
I snapped these pix in my Hollywood apartment and the chihuahua is definitely part of the look! Also included are some inspiration shots and a snap I took of the windy day outside (enhanced with photoshop to make it look all the more camouflage-y).
