Venezuelan designer Camila X Castillo’s FW15 collection “Minimal Lines” is inspired by late 60’s South American Artists including works by Gego & Naum Gabo. With modular square forms individually cut and folded by the designer herself, Castillo creates a volumetric effect to her garments.

While I thought the presentation was a little slow with the models moving as hands on a clock that stopped every 5 minutes, I did quite enjoy some of unique forms the designer created. My favorite of the line was the one sleeved piece shown below. A close second was the this black harness inspired swimsuit. I am excited to see if any LA stores decide to carry this unique line.
