At Casa de Calidad no detail is spared in making beer an experience and not just another drink. From the Pantone tiles showcasing the logo colors lining the hallway to the chair sprouting Mexican succulents and aloe vera, it’s clear from your first step inside the HQ that the devil is indeed in the details.

This particular writer is very picky when it comes to beer… I like something light and easy drinking with no aftertaste, and Calidad hit the spot! It’s a little reminiscent of Pacifico, so if you enjoy a light, refreshing taste with south-of-the-broder vibes, you will love Calidad!

The Hecho, Josh Zad, wanted to create a local Mexican lager taste without having to cross the boarder.  Brewing locally in Santa Barbara allows the brand to achieve quality safe guards and no import tariffs. Zad is the founder and CEO of Alfred Inc., the  parent company of Alfred Coffee and Kitchen. The company’s design elements such as neon moniker “But First Coffee” and the “A with Antlers” logo create a fun element to the world of serious artisanal coffee, are a natural invitation for Instagramers world-wide to take part in the quirky and charming experience that is the Alfred brand.  By incorporating his knowledge of customers and his branding prowess, Zad’s, newest beverage brand might soon become your go-to beer.

Now it is your turn to create an instagramable moment with your friends and Calidad by posting and using #esoescalidad!

Here are some of my favorite photos from the event!  Don’t forget that the official launch date is November 1st, and you will be able to find Calidad at LA area hot spots E.P & L.P., Wally’s, Barney’s Beanery, 33 Taps, Brick+Mortar among others being added daily.

Salude!
