We are finally free from winter and heading into the beautiful season of spring. But, with summer always just around the corner, it’s not too early to start thinking about your vacation. In fact, you might be in the planning stages already. Whether you’re flying solo this year, taking a trip with the fam or going with friends, we think America is the perfect location. There is so much to see and do that exploring the whole country would take a lifetime. That’s why we’ve narrowed it down to some of the best ideas for a great holiday in the USA. It doesn’t matter what your poison is we’re sure that one of these ideas will suit you.

Take A Road Trip       If you’re feeling adventurous, you could take a road trip from the east coast, all the way across to the west. You can stop off in lots of different states that are ripe with new experiences and lifestyles. There is nothing like proper American road trips, cruising down the winding highways. If you want our advice, you’ll make sure that your route includes the famous, route 66. Road Trips have always been popular in North America for good reason. As you cross each state line, you’ll continually find yourself in new worlds will with possibilities. The states are so different that it’s like travelling into different countries. This is even true when you’re travelling from South to North Dakota. If you do take a trip to South Dakota be sure to check out Mount Rushmore. It’s a hike to get up there but the sight is certainly one you don’t want to miss.

Explore Manhattan       Of course, you might just want to stay in one place for your time in America. If that’s the case, our first recommendation would be New York City. Famously or perhaps infamously known as the city that never sleeps, New York is a marvel of urban culture. If you do go there, make sure that you check out the Rockefeller centre for an afternoon of shopping. Then, across the street you can get a guided tour around central park. There you will see the movie making history where iconic pictures like Home Alone were filmed. After that, walk a couple blocks down for yet more shopping on Fifth Avenue. Some of the shops here are absolutely to die for and we imagine you’ll spend most of your vacation budget if you’re not too careful. If you’re lucky, you might even get a glimpse of a few celebrities. They are often seen wandering around the more expensive shopping malls.

Before you leave New York, you must go and see at least one Broadway show. You may have seen theatre before but we guarantee, it will be nothing like this. Everything is bigger and more exciting on broadway. Even outside of the theatres are a spectacle in themselves with massive displays that tower over you. Once, the show begins you will be swept away in the musical atmosphere with an experience that you’ll never forget.

Journey Into The Wilderness     America isn’t just about the urban lifestyle. There are plenty of places you might like to explore to get back in touch with nature. We think one of the best is on the other far side of the country. There you can explore the golden coast in all of its breathtaking glory. The golden coast truly is stunning with plenty of hiking trails for the keen explorer. Ridgemont Outfitters will provide the kit that you need for this adventure and have got some great info on unique trails. If you want to take on this holiday, you should rent an RV. An all American RV is a massive machine, built for comfort more than practicality. You’ll feel as though you’re cruising around in your own private hotel room. Once more, you’ll love every moment of it. If you want to head to America, away from the crowds this year, it’s the perfect choice for you. Hire an RV and get back in touch with nature. Personally, if you are on the west coast, you’ve got to go to Redwood forest. Famously known as the residence of the legendary Big Foot, Redwood is a massive national park. The trees there have been on the earth for thousands of years. Their size and height is a wonder for all ages.

Vegas And Nevada       Of course, you could always take the best of both worlds. If you head to Las Vegas, Nevada you’ll have two options. Either you can spend all your time in the neon city or you can also head a few hours down the road towards the Grand Canyon. As well as taking a trip towards the Hoover Dam. We don’t think we need to tell you what you can get up to in Vegas. But as a brief teaser, you can gamble your savings, bowl a strike and ride a roller coaster all in the same building! After that, head out onto the to see a light show,  a member of pop royalty or national rodeo. In Vegas, you can forge your own fate.

As for the Grand Canyon, while there is now a transparent walkway across it, we recommend hiring a helicopter flight. Do this, and you’ll be able to dive through the massive plunges in a breathtaking flight you’ll remember for a lifetime. The grand canyon is one of the greatest natural wonders and it must be seen to be believed.

Where Dreams Come True       Or finally, if you are heading over with family and you don’t mind the crowds there’s only one choice. You must go to Florida and experienced the realised dream of Walt Disney. You might have heard people say Disney is overrated but nothing could be farther from the truth. There’s a reason it’s so expensive and that’s because they know families will pay. They should too because it could be the best holiday your family ever takes. America has theme parks scattered all around it. From the American Eight Flags to the new Legoland. But nothing beats the magic and wonder of Walt Disney World for your children.
