There’s a little piece of heaven at 555 S Spring Street in Downtown Los Angeles, and it’s called Fry Madness.

I think that pretty much everyone can agree that french fries are awesome. Those crispy little potato wedges, when fried to perfection and covered in sauces, well, they just do something for the soul. Especially when covered in cheese, too.

On a chilly night in LA, before hitting up the new Nomad Hotel, my date and I went and enjoyed a cozy meal at Fry Madness. We opted for an order of the El Elotero Fries (Blistered Cut Corn/ Cotija Cheese/ Cilantro Lime Sour Cream/ Tajin Dust, don’t forget the Hot Cheetos!) and the Gyros Fries (Cheddar Blend/ Beef and Lamb Gyros/ Blistered Cherry Tomato), complete with a few white wines-in-a-can.

The vibe at Fry Madness is chill, comfortable and very low key. Come in your sweats, come in your Saturday night best, come as you are: it’s the perfect place to unwind, indulge and bathe in the glow of red neon lights.

Check out some photos below and if that doesn’t entice you to head on over to Fry Madness (or order online) right now, I don’t know what will.

And don’t forget the ranch!
